We are delighted to congratulate our very own Maybel Brooks on a fantastic victory in the English Girls’ U14 Championship at Gog Magog Golf Club. Maybel produced three superb rounds of 70, 71 and 70 to finish the championship at an impressive 8-under-par, with the title ultimately decided in dramatic fashion on the final hole.

Having stayed in contention throughout the championship, Maybel held her nerve when it mattered most, finishing with a birdie on the 18th to secure a one-shot victory. Her achievement is made even more special by the names that now sit alongside hers on the roll of honour, including Charley Hull, Georgia Hall and Alice Hewson. A huge congratulations to Maybel from everyone at Chelmsford Golf Club — we are incredibly proud of her and look forward to following her continued success.
