CGC win the John Day Trophy

Many congratulations to the John Day Team on winning the trophy against Colchester GC at the Warren.

Colchester won the toss and elected to tee off first, however Chelmsford took an early lead after the tenth hole and maintained it through to a commanding win of 6.5-2.5. Well done to the team who played in the final, comprising of Chris Edmeades, Kevin Pallett, Mark Fowles, Joe Hiluta, Ron Ryall, David Thomson, Peter Sharman, Jim Riordan and John Graves, our reserve was Alan Walker and many thanks to all of our Caddies for their help.
