We are delighted to congratulate Lily Hawes on a fantastic achievement, becoming just the fifth Essex player—male or female—to win the England Schools National Championships.

Lily secured the title with superb rounds of 71 and 73, finishing on level-par 144 to win by an impressive four shots.

This victory earns Lily her England Schools National Cap and the honour of captaining the England Schools team in their international match against Wales at Wilmslow Golf Club on 30–31 August.
