HEAD PROFESSIONAL
Mark has been the Head Professional at Chelmsford Golf Club since 1998 and trained at the championship venue Princes Golf Club in sandwich, Kent. Mark has built up a fantastic reputation in the county for the quality of the stock in the shop and the custom fitting expertise over this time.
PGA TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
Andy started by playing golf at the highest level in Essex by playing regularly for the county side at amateur level. His passion for teaching started shortly after that and he competed his PGA training and started coaching.
PGA TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
Lloyd started at Chelmsford Golf Club as a cadet and went on to enjoy great success at County and National level, winning the County Championship twice and the Essex Order of merit twice. He represented England playing in the home internationals as part of the winning Elite Squad. After turning Professional, Lloyd played on the Euro Pro Tour, winning two events and played a further 8 years on the European Challenge Tour before playing two years on the European Tour. Lloyd is passionate about coaching golfers of all standards to help improve their game.
TRAINEE PGA PROFESSIONAL
Jack has been a member of Chelmsford GC since he was 15 and recently started his PGA Training. Jack had a successful amateur career winning the club championship in 2019, winning many county events, playing for the Essex County teams, competing in many national events and winning the South East of England links also in 2019.
Our Professionals team offer individual and group lessons for both adults and juniors of all abilities.
Lessons can include use of the GC2 launch monitor, video analysis as well as on course playing lessons to really benefit your game.

Our custom fitting expertise will also help you to select the correct driver, fairway, hybrid, irons, wedges and putter. We are fortunate to have the latest technology with the GC2 Launch Monitor which we are able to connect with an iPad to analyse your golf shot data.

Our Professional team is ably assisted in the shop by Anne Nelis. Anne has worked in golf retail for over 20 years and joined Mark in 2020 as ProShop Assistant from West Sussex where she worked at Ham Manor Golf Club. Anne has gained diplomas in Retail and Retail Management and has had training courses from various golf companies on their products, clothing and shoes.
