County Double for Chelmsford Ladies

The Essex Ladies County Golf Association (ELCGA) Championship took place from 17th to 19th May 2025 Chelmsford Golf Club. The event brought together the county’s top female golfers for three days of high-quality competition.

The opening day saw intense stroke play qualifying with standout performances and closely contested rounds with the top scorers advancing to the weekends matchplay stages in both the championship and the seniors event, both finals being played on Sunday 19th May.

Chelmsfords own Megan Dawson (pictured) won the championship final, defeating Katy Yates of Clacton club in the final whilst the Seniors final was an all Chelmsford affair with Gill Haysham defeating Tiff Wade in the final.
