On a competitive day at Five Lakes GC, our pairing of Joe Sidwell and Will Wright delivered a commanding performance to clinch the 2025 Essex Foursomes Championship. Many congratulations to them both, as they posted an impressive 36-hole total of 141 (-3), securing a comfortable 7-shot victory over the runners-up.

This win caps off an amazing run of form from the two CGC Cadets in recent months. In August, Joe held his nerve to become the Essex County Boys Champion, taking the title by a single shot. Meanwhile, Will claimed both the South and West of England Boys titles after reaching the last 16 of the England Amateur Championship.
