par 4 index 3
par 5 index 9
For the longer hitter a good drive up the left half of the fairway opens up the green and leaves a mid-short iron into the green. For the shorter hitter left hand side of the fairway also opens up the green. Correct clubbing on approach shot is key as anything short will be punished on the steep slope at the front of the green and long will leave a tricky downhill chip shot.
PAR 4 INDEX 17
par 4 index 15
A risk and reward tee shot for the longer hitter by going for the green which is well guarded by bunkers. For the shorter hitter or a safer option a tee shot up the left side of the fairway opens up the green.
PAR 4 INDEX 1
par 5 index 5
With a left to right sloping fairway, the ideal tee shot will be long and up the left hand side but this brings the ditch through the fairway into play. A tee shot up the right side of the fairway leaves a longer shot in but takes the risk of the ditch out of play. A approach shot that goes past the flag is ideal as it leaves an uphill putt.
PAR 3 INDEX 15
par 3 index 17
A short par 3 but don’t be fooled. This green slopes from right to left with the front half also sloping from back to front. Aiming right of the pin will allow the ball to slope towards the hole but be careful with club choice as to much spin will cause the ball to roll off the front of the green.
PAR 4 INDEX 13
par 4 index 11
The longer player could hit a draw over the corner and reach the green which is well guarded by bunkers and trees. The safer option is to hit the tee shot just right of the fairway bunker on the corner. This opens up the green and leaves a short iron or wedge for the approach shot.
PAR 4 INDEX 9
par 4 index 3
For the longer hitter a tee shot straight over the first tree on the left corner of the fairway is ideal. For the shorter hitter a tee shot up the right half of the fairway leaves the ideal shot into the green. This green runs from front to back so make sure the ball finishes past the pin the leave an easier putt.
PAR 4 INDEX 5
par 5 index 13
One of the best holes on the course where there is no bail out area – a long tee shot through the bunkers is required to get home in 2 shots. The longer hitters will clear the bunkers to leave an iron shot which will need to land on the right half of the green.
PAR 4 INDEX 7
par 4 index 1
For the longer hitter a tee shot just right of the big tree through the fairway leaves a short iron or wedge into the green. For the shorter hitter A tee shot hit down the left of the fairway will give you a good view of the green. For the second shot take one more club as the steep slope will catch anything short and feed you into the bunker or back down the hill.
PAR 3 INDEX 11
par 3 index 7
180-yard par 3 over a big ravine. The green has a false front to gather the ball back off the green with large bunkers either side. Aim for the back of the green here and take a little more club.
PAR 4 INDEX 4
par 4 index 2
Has a big sloping fairway from right to left towards the ditch, which runs the length of the hole, so the tee shot needs placing to the right whilst avoiding the two fairway bunkers. For the longer hitter a tee shot aimed over the trees is risky but can leave a short wedge into the green. Green slopes from back right to front left making putts up the hill slow but very fast back down the slope.
PAR 5 INDEX 16
par 5 index 8
For gentlemen, the only par 5 on the course and a very good birdie opportunity. Shorter hitters play left of fairway bunker and longer hitters can cut the corner leaving an iron to go for the green in two. Shorter hitters can lay up short of the second set of bunkers leaving a short shot to the green.
PAR 3 INDEX 8
par 3 index 10
A long par 3 and the hardest on the course with a narrow green entrance. The ideal shot will start on the right edge of the green and the contours of the hole will see the ball moving right to left down the slope.
PAR 4 INDEX 12
par 4 index 6
A short par 4 with a sharp dog leg right to left. Play your tee shot through the chute of trees and a long enough shot will keep you out of trouble. Longer hitters can take on some of the corner with a high draw with a fairway wood or a driver, which leaves a short pitch into the green.
PAR 4 INDEX 2
par 5 index 12
Second hardest hole on the course straight up the hill towards the clubhouse. Fairway becomes tighter the further you hit the tee shot but play for the right half as the ball kicks to the left. Anything left of the fairway will leave a hard second shot with the ball above your feet in the rough or ditch. Second shot is up hill and blind but fir trees in distance is a good line for green.
PAR 3 INDEX 14
par 3 index 14
This holes slopes massively downhill and the green is protected by bunker. A club less should be taken due to the slope with the aim to leave the ball short of the flag and leave an uphill putt as the green slopes from back to front.
PAR 4 INDEX 10
par 4 index 16
The tee shot is challenging with two fairway bunkers on the right and a ditch left but a ball landing in the right half of fairway will kick to the left. Longer hitters can take the bunkers out of play by cutting the corner of ditch, which leaves a pitch to the green.
PAR 4 INDEX 6
par 4 index 4
Tight fairway here and anything pitching just over hill will kick forward to the right down the hill. Ideal line will be to left half to counter the effects of the slope. Second shot plays uphill so take one more club to make sure you make the green.
PAR 3 INDEX 18
par 3 index 18
Great finishing hole with an ideal opportunity for a hole in one in front of the club house. Middle length par 3 bunkers to left, long and one short right with run off mid-long right of green so middle of the green is a good shot here.
